Alcoford Corporation
Circular economy

Nothing is discarded. Everything returns to the value chain.

Cassava enters processing and leaves as ethanol, food products, fertilizer and energy: a process designed to valorize every stream rather than discard part of it.

The loop, stage by stage
  1. 01

    Cassava sourcing

Cassava is sourced directly from Alcoford's farmer network, creating consistent demand at the farm gate.

  2. 02

    Processing

Fermentation and distillation convert cassava starch into ethanol, the core transformation step.

  3. 03

    Ethanol outputs

Bioethanol for clean cooking and select industrial use, and industrial ethanol for manufacturing, lab and cosmetic applications.

  4. 04

    Food & feed by-products

Cassava flour and livestock feed are recovered from the same process, not a separate operation.

  5. 05

    Organic fertilizer

Process residue is converted into organic fertilizer, returning nutrients to the soil.

  6. 06

    Biogas & energy recovery

Biogas recovered from by-products is used internally as process energy, reducing external energy dependence.

  7. 07

    Back to the farm

Fertilizer and market demand flow back to the farmer network, closing the loop.
